Nearly two years from the last update

Hello everyone, its nearly two years now from the last update, but it doesn't mean we didn't hangout... I think if we start to update the previous hangouts it will be a bit difficult task for us now. In the mean time Sai got married ;-) The biggest update of the past which had to me mentioned here. Now we all moved to different places and no two people are living in the same city. Run for the careers sprinkled us in different parts of the country and world. Still we manage ourselves to hangout in every possible way. I hope Razzaq will upload some of the pics for just a quick recap. I still remember each and every hangout of ours, the famous voting technique to decide everything. Its more than a decade for now from our first hangout, still going....

Last Saturday Abhishek,Shoaib,Swat and myself met in Hyderabad,Abhishek came from Ramagundam,Swat came from Warangal ,shoaib was already in hydeabad and i came from Raigarh,Chhattisgarh.We had dinner at Shah Gouse Tolichowki and later went to my home.We spent the night talking and by 2am we all were asleep.Next day we had naahari paya at Arbab Riyan Hotel and thus ended our short gettogether.

Back to the colony!

After a long time abhishek,akram and myself met in colony.Recently
abhishek got selected in Singareni Colleries and for a celebratory
Lunch we went to Thatipalli Hotel in Kothagudem.Had fun!

Abhishek and myself in Raigarh

Its been a month since abhishek and myself have been in Raigarh,Chhattisgarh to pursue our PG in Thermal Power Plant Engineering.We have been provided accommodation in Vrindavan Hostel which is around 4km from the city of Raigarh.It has nice AC rooms with a gym too.The institute lies in the center of Jindal Power Limited's 4x250 MW Thermal Power Plant's Premises.The classrooms are good with AC.The only problem lies in the distance between the institute and the hostel.it is around 40km and a part of the road is marred with potholes the size of which will sink a maruti 800 car.Add to it the number of huge trucks carrying loads of coal from the nearby coalfields and  you have a recipe for accidents.At an average 2 accidents take place everyday.The highest so far has been 5 in one day.Hopefully till the time we complete this course nothing will happen to us.
    Which brings me to the other issue here.Before coming here I was all gung ho about the chance to get placed in Jindal Power Limited but after seeing the state here I no more feel the same.The City of Raigarh is  very small with no proper shops and restaurants.The staying options of hostels aren't good (i don't like living in hostels however good they are) And the remoteness of the region have all have dampened my excitement.All I can do now is wait and see what companies come for placement and hopefully I get placed in the best of the lot.
    As for the people here,they are all good natured fellows.Even my fellow students are good except the disgusting habit of spewing swear words before a sentence starts and after a sentence ends.
             Also we have our 10th classmates here.Satya,Ravi teja whom we fondly call Dido and Rakesh have also joined and we have formed a nice group.!
    One month has passed and 11 months remain.Have many places to visit  and of course get placed too!

Sleepover at Akram's Place

This sleepover was the best since the one we had in shoaib's house back in our inter days.Akram,Abhishek,Swatchit,Shoaib and myself were present.kiran couldn't make it as he got busy with his office works.Bhanu and p were in colony.And deepanjan busy exploring the barren lands of Ladakh and Leh.
        Anyway we all gathered at akram's house by 10pm and had to start things off for the night,ate some delicious haleem bought from Shah Ghouse,Tolichowki.After that,on shoaib's insistence we celebrated our graduation with a small 'gharelu' ceremony where we exchanged 'gajras' and had sweets.Most of it was done  laughing uncontrollably .
      After that we settled down in the front room for an hour of talking.Then at 12am two of us went to Prince Hotel and brought some yummy local dishes,Grill Chicken and Biriyani.After that heavy meal we settled down for the next phase of talking on the terrace and at around 2pm we came inside forced by the cold wind.By 3am the wickets started to tumble and the first to go was shaoib and akram soon followed.Abhi , Swat and myself somehow statyed awake till it was sehri time.At around 4am i woke up akram and we both had some biriyani.Then we all tucked in for the night or rather i should say for the day :-)

On 2 August,Abhishek,swat,p,bhanu,akram and myself had dinner at alpha hotel.Actually 8 of us were supposed to meet over dinner but for bhanu and shoaib something came up at the last moment.

Kiran house sleepover

The other day shoaib and i met kiran.It was after a long time that we were meeting kiran.We spent the day talking in his house in Patancheru and in the evening broke our fast there (Ramzan ) .

We spent the whole night talking and reading out aloud from our blog just to reminisce about our past trips.

Trip to Manuguru,June 2012

Abrupt trips of enjoyment

Hi friends, as razzaq has posted our  future prospectus, i would once again like to talk about our abrupt trips of enjoyment, yes, before i came for coaching at Hyderabad, Razzaq,Akram,Bhanu,P,Sai and myself were in the colony. So, we actually planed for early morning trip to Godavari and voting system was held rather we can call as FC system.And as votes were few, so we withdrawn the trip but soon thought of lunch at Venu Restaurant ( Bhandargudem On 28 june 2:30pm) and as usual votes were full. Unfortunately P and Sai couldn't make it due to some problems. so we four started on abhishek's harley davidson and razzaq's Suzuki 600R.... just joking...

 Weather was great that day, we had our usual menu and returned back, it was about to rain, we stopped at a place to take a pic with the natures lush greenery but as soon as we tried, it stared raining we soon took a safe shelter which was barely safe. Abhishek and Bhanu were almost wet and they made us too...

 As i had to start to Hyd on the same day we again started in rain back to home, and on the way took pics too.
razzaq might be uploading the pics soon...We had a blast with green nature and icy rain.

Finally engineering is over for all of us! Four years back we all wrote about our experiences in the starting days of engineering.Now is the time for the end of Engg Post.So here goes.
Everybody now is looking ahead for the future.
Here is a status update of everyone's position-
Razzaq- Got admission in Jindal Institute of Power Technology. I got AIR 246 in National Power Training Institute,the best Power Training Institute of India.But sadly I couldn't join due to some reasons.I will soon join JIPT in August.
Abhishek-Got admission in JIPT too.We both wrote and gave the exam together and got through.
Bhanu Teja-Got a job in Infosys and will be joinng on august 13.
P-looking for a job in a core area preferably Automobile sector.
Ravikiran-Joined a company, in the marketing department.
Shoaib Rashid- Right now working in a company started by his friends 'scoozang'
Deepanjan Ghosh- Wrote exams for Higher studies,waiting for the results.
Swatchitlal- Enrolled In Made EAsy for IES coaching
Akram- Enrolled in Made easy for Gate coaching.

Dinner in Kothagudem

Last Monday turned out to be another successful day for us as six of us could meet together after a long time.The only people missing were Deepanjan,meeting whom has become a once-in-a-year affair,shoaib who is always 'busy' in Hyderabad,and p,who was busy with his project work with Indian Railways.
    Five of us,Akram,Abhishek,Bhanu,Kiran and myself were staying in colony while swat was in Kothagudem, about to start his project in Singareni Collieries.The actual plan was to go for dinner in Hotel Venu in Manuguru but as it turned out swat,at the last moment said he couldn't make it as he was too busy with his work.We were disappointed with this and held a voting to decide where to go .Shall we go to Kothagudem or continue to Manuguru without swat? Kothagudem won hands down.
  So we hopped on a bus to Kothagudem and reached within an hour.That hour didn't feel like an hour as the whole time in the bus was spent in laughing and shouting.We had only one task at hand on the bus: to prevent akram,who was the only one to bring his earphones, from listening to songs.
 After we reached,we went in hotel Cosmo to have a small snack where Kiran kept away from the place as he doesnt eat Non Veg.Next,swat came and after a round of hugs with everyone took us to his Grandma's place.There we spent some time before swat took all of us in his Maruti 800.That was some ride.we were now 7 people including rajeev,swat's friend from suryapet.the seven of us crammed inside the car.As usual i had to sit on top of someone and to ensure justice to all i spread myself over bhnau,kiran and abhishek equally :-)
 We decided to dine in Hotel Thatipalli. As usual we discussed at length and great detail about trying out new dishes but after much deliberations settled down on Biryani.Kiran as usual took Egg Biryani.The food was not much to talk about and we didn't care as the purpose of our dinner was to meet and talk, not to enjoy the food.

 After the dinner it was time to return. swat dropped us at the bus station where luckily for us a bus was just about to leave for Manuguru.we boarded it and the journey back was spent in discussing about the future of our club and how to keep the activities and fun going.Thus ended a very enjoyable meeting between all of us after a long time.

Last week bhanu came to hyderabad to get his Laptop repaired.After his work was done Banu,Akram,Soaib and myself met in Ameerpet and spent time together.here are the pics.

Had a nice get together in suryapet with abhishek,swat and p.especially the lunch at Orchids.Another great refresher for me!
